INTERPRETING
AZUR TRADUCTION also offers several different types of interpreting. We can advise you on which type may suit you best depending on your requirements.
Interpreter: a person who orally transposes one language into another, or who serves as an intermediary in a conversation between people that speak different languages. (Larousse)

CONFERENCE / SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETING
Interpreting in a booth at the same time as the speaker. Simultaneous interpreting requires full proficiency in both languages as well a good knowledge of the specialist field. Interpreters usually alternate every 30 minutes. Therefore 2 people are required for each language combination.
CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETING
The interpreter translates after the speaker. The conference time is therefore doubled.

LIAISON INTERPRETING
Interpretation for the purpose of helping two people or a small group to communicate. Interpreting is performed in both directions.
WHISPERED INTERPRETING
The interpreter is positioned behind the person for whom he/she is interpreting, and whispers the translation into the person’s ear.

SWORN INTERPRETING
Just as there are sworn translators there are also sworn interpreters. Other than the courts, it is often notaries or lawyers who use their services. Interpretation is performed in liaison mode.
EQUIPMENT HIRE
AZUR TRADUCTION also takes care of the rental of the required equipment for interpreting services, including booths, sound systems, microphones, lecterns, equipment for simultaneous interpreting without a booth, etc.)
